Utah -Governor Spencer Cox on Friday condemned the “ugly” and “dark” celebration of Charlie Kirk’s assault and noted that Hunter of leaders across party lines had reached him to express their sadness and disgust at the deadly shooting.
COX – in a performance on Fox News’ ‘Special Report’ Friday afternoon – discussed the nail study of Kirk’s murder. The conservative activist was deadly shot during a campus event in Utah on Wednesday. Cox urged Americans to reject the cycle of political violence and nodded that Hudreds of Democraticals had reached him to express their ‘true sadness’ and disgust over the attack. He also warned against conspiracy theories that spread online and called festive reactions to Kirk’s death “so ugly and so dark.”

The Utah Governor, who had spoken to Kirk’s family and described their grief as “devastating,” said the suspects of the suspect was motivated by hatred against Turning Point US founder and his faith.

“This is an attack on not only him, but all of us,” Cox said. “It is an insult to the actual production of our country, for our democratic republic, of our ability to speak freely. And we cannot take it easily.”

While the investigation stays in progress, Cox said the authorities believe the shooter wore the rifle on the roof before the attack instead of helping it there. After the shooting, Robinson allegedly tried to hide weapons in the woods wrapped in a towel where police regained it later that event.

When asked about the video in which the suspect seemed to go with a limp, Cox said it was a “very clear option” that the rifle had been conceived in his clothing. Proof – including the round that hit Kirk – is still being treated, he said.
COX also regains that Utah prosecutors will pursue the death if Robinson is ordered and notes that he believes Kirk’s family should be central to the legal process.

“What I would also say is that we thought very strongly that the victim needs to play a role in these conversations,” he said. “I want to make sure that in these conversations it is not about me, it is really about the Kirk family – Erica and their children and Charlie’s parents, his sister – the whole family,”
