NFL held on the Mood of Sientt Reflection before Green Bay Packers – Washington Commanders “Thursday night Football” game for Charlie Kirk after his murder at Utah Valley University on Wednesday.

Subsequently after Kirk’s death, millions showing support for his family, including the NFL before kickoff on Thursday night at Lambeau Field.

“The National Football League asks us that you please join us in a quiet reflection after the murder of Charlie Kirk. NFL condemns all violence in our society. It will take us all to stop hatred,” read the ad -advertisement over the speakers.

Many in the NFL world react in grief and destruction after the news that Kirk was shot included the formation of quarterback Tim Tebow. The winner of Heisman Trophy warned that “the evil is real” in the wake of the shooting at the university campus.

“Evil is real. There is no doubt that the enemy is hard at work,” Tebow wrote on x. “The last few days the weight of evil has been heavy across our nation. But this I know: It will not have the last word. One day God will do all things right.

“Until then, we pray. We cry with those who cry. And we continue to fight, as they knew the victory is already won.”

Ex-NFL pups Pat McAfee also shared his thoughts about X and called the event “surprising” to see unfold.

“I’m not a political person, but I am a proud US citizen and today was surprising, sad and crazy at the same time ..,” McAfee wrote on x. “I realize that I’m a little naive about how crazy it all has been, but watching a man being chased and killed wide daylight because of his opinions made me disgust and destroyed.

McAfee also talked about Kirk during his Thursday edition of ESPN’s “The Pat McAfee Show”, where he raised he is not someone focusing on the political space, but he could not help question the shooting.

“Yesterday, every time we see a public execution of this man happen in all the palms in our hands in real time … Can’t you avoid wondering … First of all, he has family, he has children. But are we also a society that really is Gocom that is? Is that? Is that what we go to being? 2001, moment.”

President Donald Trump confirmed that Kirk will be postumed the pre -idential medal of freedom.

Kirk is survived by his wife, Erika, and their two children. He was 31 years old.
