A Biden-Appoiveted Federal Judge blogging suddenly the Trump administration from flying out of dogs by illegal strangers during Labor Day Weekend, after immigrant lawyer groups rushed to court and claimed Trump performed a mass portation at night.
The emergency order from the US district judge Sparkle Sooknan froze a pilot program, as the administration said would reunite almost 700 children with parents or guardians in Guatemala.
When the referee intervened, charter buses had already rolled up for aircraft in the Harling and El Paso, and in some boxes children sat on board waiting for department.
The Ministry of Justice’s lawyer Drew Ensign told the court, “This is not removal according to the statute. These are repatriations. All these children have parents or guardians in Guatemala who have requested their return.”

Advocacy Groups rejected this explanation with the National Immigration Law Center’s (Nilc) efrén Olivares, who fired back, “It is a dark and dangerous moment when our way of targeting orphans 10-year-olds.”

The leading plaintiff was a 10-year-old girl who was only identified by her initials whose mother had died in Guaatemala. Junge Sooknanan scoded Trump administration over the timing and said during the emergency: “I have the government trying to remove minor children from the country this weekend in the morning in a holiday debt, which is surprising, but here we are.”
The Trump administration insists that the flights were legal reunification, which was negotiated with Guatemala’s government, while lawyer groups claim that children are being rushed without hearings or the chance of pursuing asylum.

Guatemala’s Foreign Minister confirmed that the country is ready to take the children, with President Bernardo Arévalo, who calls it a “moral and legal obligation.”
Uncompleted children who arrive illegally in the United States are often transferred to HHS ‘office for resettlement (ORR) while their immigration cases are prepared. Those from Guatemala often request asylum to stay in America.
Currently, Hudreds of Guatemalan remains minor in the United States while the legal battle is playing out. According to reporting from Associated Press, family members of many of the migrants had gathered at airports over the central American nation in anticipation of their arrival.
