Texas A&M Pass Rusher Cashius Howell forces punt with three straight sacks

Texas A&M had a little problem securing his second victory in the young college football season. No. 19 Agggies drove to a 20-point victory over Utah State Aggies in College Station, Texas.

Defensive Lineman Cashius Howell played a key role in the victory and achieved a rare achievement in the process. In the second quarter, Howell Utah Staterback fired Bryson Barnes on three inaugurating plays.

Texas A&M coach Mike Elko said he had never seen anything like what Howell did on Saturday and paid tribute to his team’s pass rush. “It will be something that will be hard to beat,” he said.

Howell, a fifth -year senior, enters the game with 15.5 career bags. He ended the 2024 season with only four sacks. His career mound came in 2023 when he had 9.5 for Bowling Green.
