Texas A&M had a little problem securing his second victory in the young college football season. No. 19 Agggies drove to a 20-point victory over Utah State Aggies in College Station, Texas.
Defensive Lineman Cashius Howell played a key role in the victory and achieved a rare achievement in the process. In the second quarter, Howell Utah Staterback fired Bryson Barnes on three inaugurating plays.
When Utah State held the ball on the 25-yard line, it drifted Pass Rusher past the left left tackle Jake Eichorn and fell for a loss of six meters.

On the next spectacle, Howell came past Eichorn again to take Barnes down for another sack. Bullying past Eichorn once again, Howell took Barnes down for a loss of 8 yards to bring fourth down and forced on his own a punt.

Howell admitted that he was a little stunned after he took down the bars for the third time.
“I don’t want to say I didn’t believe it, but it was like Dang, just like I really just did,” he said. “However, it was defined a good feeling with certainty.”

When asked to choose his favorite of the three, Howell did not hesitate.
“The other,” he said. “I feel I just fried him.”

Texas A&M coach Mike Elko said he had never seen anything like what Howell did on Saturday and paid tribute to his team’s pass rush. “It will be something that will be hard to beat,” he said.

Howell, a fifth -year senior, enters the game with 15.5 career bags. He ended the 2024 season with only four sacks. His career mound came in 2023 when he had 9.5 for Bowling Green.
