Official newspaper: President Jalal Talabani accused Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki of attacking the cleric Moqtada al-Sadr!!

The Union newspaper, in its Tuesday edition, published this news story that said: “Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki is attacking Sayyed Muqtada al-Sadr, the leader of the Sadrist movement, on Monday, Maliki said he considered that there is no longer
important statements by the leader of the Sadrist movement”
The Prime Minister Al-Maliki said Mr. Sadr’s recent contradictory statements have an offensive, where he criticized the Prime Minister on the legality of the Russian deal. Maliki attack came on the critical statements of Sadr, he was responding to a question from journalists and also published his response as an indication on the official website of the Prime Minister.
Maliki’s comment was in response to Sadr’s claim that the purchase of were for use inside of Iraq and not about arming the army, saying “no such statement is important, as it is contradictory and there will soon be a coup as his words do not match with behavior. Maliki said in response to a question, “As for the weapons and arming the Iraqi army, individuals who fire these accusations need to legally prove them or face the consequences of their accusations in a judiciary and not cause diversionary tactics. Sadr said in response, on Tuesday, that “it is absolutely imperative that we arm the Iraqi army but with conditions including one that does not allow for weapons to an occupied country like Iraq (BASICALLY IN A DICTATORSHIP), nor one that is not corrupt nor one that is out of date nor weakening its price; in addition there needs to be an emphasis on the integrity of the transaction (TRASNPARENCY).
He pointed out that “the purchase of arms must be for all of Iraq not for those who negotiate the purchase of the weapon as national points away from the hands of the Baathist party. Mr. Muqtada al-Sadr also stressed that “the purchase of arms must be to defend Iraq and not for the Tigris Operartion or other cause, in addition to the purchase of arms must not be motivated by electoral”. Sadr continued: “The threats launched by Maliki against his political partners, represent “a big mistake”, because it represents a “threat” against them, at the same time any purchase of arms it must be made clear that doing so is in order to build the country’s military force, adding, “It is better for him to alter his words and unrelenting tongue toward his partners. ”
